Writing update – Feb 2026

I’ve been busy writing, editing, and working on my marketing via social media lately. Here’s a brief update on what’s been happening in my world of writing.

Technomancer Book 2

I haven’t settled on a title yet, but the story is well underway and I hope the final first draft will be under 140k 150k words. I’m into the final chapters and am looking for Beta Readers. I’ll select up to five beta readers and drafts by the end of March. Advanced Reader Copies (ARC) should be sent by June of this year. Another Past

I’ve completed a re-edit of Another Past: Book One in January. While the story line has not changed, the writing has been cleaned up and tightened across the entire book. If you purchased it previously, you can re-download via Amazon or Kindle Unlimited to get the refreshed version.

Book two is in progress for refreshing, with one quarter of the book cleaned up. I plan on finishing and reposting by the end of April.

TikTok

I’ve also started posting on TikTok. Specifically, I’m focused on #BookTok and engaging with other independent authors. Feel free to follow me there as well.

YouTube

I’ve started a YouTube channel with content related to both my own writing and others.

Episode 2 of Book Battles went up at the beginning of March, looking at Dragonriders of Pern vs. Game of Thrones, The Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny, and The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley. Researching books for each segment has been educational. Reading new books (for me) to complete each month’s review has also been entertaining as well as informative.
