I’ve been busy writing, editing, and working on my marketing via social media lately. Here’s a brief update on what’s been happening in my world of writing.
Technomancer Book 2

Beta reading has begun on Technomancer: The Awakened Mage. Advanced Reader Copies (ARC) should be sent later this year. Subscribe to my newsletter via this link if you’d like to be considered for an ARC copy.
Another Past

I’ve completed a re-edit of Another Past: Book One in January. While the story line has not changed, the writing has been cleaned up and tightened across the entire book. If you purchased it previously, you can re-download via Amazon or Kindle Unlimited to get the refreshed version.
Book two is in progress for refreshing, with one quarter of the book cleaned up. I plan on finishing and reposting by the end of April.
Podcast
If you follow my posts here, you saw the first podcast go up. I’m calling it “An Author’s Voice”. This podcast will primarily be focused on the craft of writing, looking at structure, POV, pacing, dialogue, and other such topics. It may also include genre discussions, like what tropes and must-have beats exist in specific sub-genres of Science Fiction and Fantasy.
Social Media
TikTok
I’ve also started posting on TikTok. Specifically, I’m focused on #BookTok and engaging with other independent authors. Feel free to follow me there as well. I’m posting more video content on TikTok and will begin incorporating more writer focused content over time.
I’ve established a presence on Instagram. Feel free to follow me there as well. Currently, I’m exploring the different formats on Instagram (Reels vs Posts vs Stories), so expect that channel to have different content.
YouTube
I’ve started a YouTube channel with content related to both my own writing and others.
Episode 3 of Book Battles went up at the beginning of April, looking at Harry Potter vs. The Hunger Games, The Fountains of Paradise by Arthur C. Clarke, and Emily Wilde’s Compendium of Lost Tales by Heather Fawcett.
Researching books for each segment has been educational. Reading new books (for me) to complete each month’s review has also been entertaining as well as informative.

Subscribe to get Book Battles delivered monthly to your inbox directly. Additional content will be sent out around the middle of each month, focusing on writing updates, calls for ARC readers, opportunities for give-aways, book reviews and much more. As a welcome bonus, subscribers will receive a free copy of a short-story that is background for my next book’s world. Subscribe today. Share this post or a copy of the newsletter with your friends.
